시험책임자, 시험담당자, 임상시험 조정자

A person responsible for the conduct of the clinical trial at a trial site. If a trial is conducted by a team of individuals at a trial site, the investigator is the responsible leader of the team and may be called the principal investigator.

시험책임자 (principal Investigator) : 시험기관에서 임상시험의 수행에 대한 책임을 갖고 있는 사람.

시험담당자 (Sub-Investigator) : 시험책임자의 위임 및 감독하에 임상시험과 관련된 업무를 담당하거나 필요한 사항을 결정하는 의사‧치과의사‧한의사(이하 “의사 등”이라 한다) 및 기타 임상시험에 관여하는 사람
