해당 임상시험과는 무관하고, 임상시험에 관련된 자들에 의해 부당하게 영향을 받지 않을 수 있는 자로서, 피험자나 피험자의 법정대리인이 문맹인 경우 서면 동의과정에 입회하여 서면 동의서 및 피험자에게 제공되는 모든 서면 정보를 대신하여 읽게 되는 자.

A person, who is independent of the trial, who cannot be unfairly influenced by people involved with the trial, who attends the informed consent process if the subject or the subject’s legally acceptable representative cannot read, and who reads the informed consent form and any other written information supplied to the subject.
